What are the Reasons for the Instability of the Electromagnetic Flow Meter When It Returns to Zero?

Ⅰ. The process of checking the instability of the electromagnetic flow meter

In the industrial production, the electromagnetic flow meter often encounters the unstable situation when returning to zero. There are many reasons for this problem. According to the experience of technical personnel for many years, there are mainly the following five factors:


1. The pipeline is not filled with liquid or the liquid contains bubbles, which objectively means that there is no activity in the flow sensor but there is a trace of activity in practice.


2. The use of the valve for a long time or incomplete valve sealing. Dirty liquid will also lead to the emergence of zero point instability phenomenon.


3. Liquid conductivity changes or is uneven, which in the static will make the zero point change and the output shake in activity.


4. Because the scale on the outer surface of the inner wall and the pollution level of the electrode cannot be completely the same and symmetrical, the equilibrium of the initial zero setting will be destroyed.


5. The change of the state of the power equipment near the flow sensor (such as the increase of the leakage current) constitutes the change of the ground potential, which will also cause the zero point change of the intelligent electromagnetic flow meter. Through the analysis of the problem, we can find the corresponding solution according to the corresponding phenomenon.
