Pressure transmitter is the most commonly used sensor in industrial practice. Pressure sensor can be used as pressure measuring element or sensitive element for automatic control. And high accuracy is required especially when it is working as a pressure measuring element. Because the accuracy of the pressure sensor made of semiconductor chip is affected by temperature, you should see to it that the sensor is working in the temperature range. The accuracy of level pressure transducer, along with that of all measurement and display instruments, is an indicator of the credibility of the measured value.
1. Static accuracy refers to the accuracy that should be achieved at a certain temperature. It can be divided into four grades:
Ultra-high precision: 0.01-0.1% FS;
High precision: 0.1-1% FS;
General precision: 1-2% FS;
Low precision: 2-10% FS;
2. The accuracy of the full temperature range refers to the accuracy that the pressure sensor should reach at any temperature in its range. It can also be divided into four grades:
Ultra-high precision: 0.01-011% FS;
High precision: 0.1-1% FS;
General precision: 1-2% FS;
Low precision: 2-10% FS;
When the static accuracy reaches 0.1-1% FS, maybe the accuracy of the full temperature range is only 1-2% FS, or even 2-10% FS.
Users hope that the accuracy of pressure transmitter can be as high as possible. However, when the accuracy is high, many additional processes, calibration processes and compensation technology will inevitably be added in the production process, leading to cost increment. Consequently, the price will also rise sharply. Therefore, our accuracy requirements and temperature range must be on the basis of application situation and requirements.
